Sullivan's Island Beach

Sullivan's Island Beach is a calm place full of sights! You can come here to have a refreshing and well needed day. You can come to swim and have fun in the water, or you can go sight seeing! There is a beautiful lighthouse that you can explore, but just brace yourself for when you walk up the steps to the top. There are a lot of historic sites that surround the beach that you can go investigate. There are sites such as Fort Sumter, and Fort Moultrie that you can see that are national monuments.

I have never been to this beach, but I have heard great things! My parents visited the lighthouse and they said that it was an amazing site to see!

You may come and see the beautiful wildlife that inhabits this beach. You can also collect the various types of seashells that wash up on this beach.

Folly Beach

Folly beach is a fun time waiting for you. This is the beach that you would go to with friends, and is a great spot for college kids! This beach is also great for you and your buddies to go surfing for some great waves. There are tons of surfing shops that are located near the beach. The water there is nice, and feels great in the hot summer. You can also look for many shells, and even find some conch shells by the pier. You can also have a relaxing day just fishing off of the pier, waiting for a big catch!

I have been to Folly Beach several times, and it is fun to go to! I have actually found many large shells, and I have found many conch shells under the pier. I usually go with my friends, and we have a blast.  I have never had a experience with sharks, but I have encountered some jellyfish. You just need to watch out for them and get out of the water if you see any.

You can possibly get lucky and even see a dolphin! Just watch out for jellyfish that could be in the water. A sting by one of those is something that no one enjoys. Folly beach also supports the sea turtles to help try to save the babies, they say beachfront lights out!

Isle of Palms

Isle of Palms is a beautiful beach that is meant for enjoyment and refreshment. This is the beach that you would go to, to take your family to. You can sit back and relax while spending great quality time with your family.  The water feels incredible when it is hot outside, and it is what everyone needs! The beach is surrounded with beautiful homes and hotels. There are many places to eat as well that are right by the beach! There is also a playground that is located on the beach that your children will have tons of fun playing on. There are also lots of beautiful seashells that you can find as well. There is a really popular place that is located near the beach called The Windjammer that is really neat, that you need to check out!

This beach is a personal favorite of mine. I have lived in South Carolina my entire life and I go to this beach countless times during every summer. I usually go with my family or sometimes friends. This beach has great waves for boogie boarding! I have never had a bad experience with sharks or jellyfish.

You may even encounter seeing some dolphins on your visit to this wonderful beach. This beach is also very big on saving sea turtles and is trying to protect the babies, like other beaches they are also apart of the beachfront lights out. You may see some jellyfish, but it happens rarely. If you go out far enough, you can try to find sand dollars by feeling on the bottom with your feet!
